Dan Olszewski // Alexander Technique

Picture
Dan Olszewski is an AmSAT certified teacher of the Alexander Technique (AT), having studied under Heidi Leathwood and Nancy Romita. A classical guitarist by profession, Dan experienced chronic pain early in his career, and found little relief through doctors or other "traditional" methods. Through AT, Dan found an escape from the patterns of strain and tension: the root causes of his chronic pain. As a professional musician himself, Dan tailors his practice to performers to help them build mindfulness and integrative techniques to relieve and avoid pattern-related injury. In addition to his AmSAT certification, Dan holds a Masters Degree in music performance from the University of South Carolina and a Performance Certificate from the University of Denver.
